Salmon Fishing Canada

Salmon Fishing Canada

Our specialty : Salmon Sight Fishing Canada

Heavenly for Atlantic salmon fishermen for many generations, the Gaspe-Quebec-Canada salmon count in many important rivers, is superb and reputable.

We are situated in proximity to the most productive Atlantic salmon fishing Canada in the world and offer our guests the possibility to fish on three rivers.

The beautiful Bonaventure River, its crystal clear water gets its source from the Gaspe Park and flows into the Bay of Chaleur, after covering 125 km from north to south. The Bonaventure River is one of the most reputable rivers in the Gaspe for salmon sight fishing with its exceptional quality of water: it is still possible to drink this water from the river.

The Petite-Cascapédia River is situated south of the Gaspe Peninsula and takes its source from the Chic-Chocs Mountains, the colour of the water is also crystal clear. This picturesque river has huge salmon as big as sea trout.

In the heart of the Gaspe region, the Grande-Cascapédia River is considered to be one of the 10 best salmon rivers in the world, for the size of the salmon one finds, it isn’t rare to catch a 40 or plus lb salmon. She takes her source from the Chic-Chocs Mountains and winds on a 139km course of north-west-south- east before reaching the bay of Cascapédia.

Who has never dreamed of sight fishing for salmon in crystal clear water or catching a salmon of 40 lbs, then come and realize your dream in Gaspe at Robidoux Lakes Outfitter.

Enthusiastic, experienced, passionate for their trade, the guides know how to share with our guests the best techniques to capture Atlantic salmon. It is with your guide that you will leave the camp in the morning with a 4x4 vehicle to reach our different fishing areas. From there you will embark in a 26 ft. (7.92m) canoe with a motor, two fishermen with one guide per canoe or better still wade fish. And you are well on your way for an unforgettable day!
Furthermore on the return of their day of fishing, our guests have equal access to brook trout fishing on our lakes. What a great way to finish a day by catching some nice indigenous brook trout with a dry fly for the catch of the night.

For a souvenir of your stay, we offer to our most faithful guests, a home-made trophy engraved with your name and your best salmon.
